their respective positions and protect Bhishma from all the sides."
CIC plays a major role in any war.
He plans the strategies and implements those plans and his presence in the
middle will boost the confidence of all the soldiers. If he is injured then it
is a major drawback to any army. So what Duryodhana said is correct by military
strategy. But it may also mean that Bhishma is already old and weak and it is
the responsibility of Dronacharya to protect him. He again appraises the
importance of Dronacharya and satisfies his ego.
